AP/IB & Dual Enrollment

This dashboard shows the percentage of 11th and 12th grade students enrolled in AP, IB, and dual enrollment courses. AP and IB courses are identified using state defined course codes reported by school districts each summer. Dual enrollment courses allow high school students to earn college credit while still in high school. Participation rates are calculated by dividing the unique count of qualifying students in grades 11 and 12 by total end-of-year enrollment for those grades.

Student group breakdowns show participation rates for each student group and are based on demographic information reported in end-of-year enrollment data. There is multi year trend data and state comparisons available.
