College Readiness

This dashboard shows student participation and performance on the PSAT, SAT, and ACT college readiness exams. PSAT participation reflects whether 10th and 11th grade students took the PSAT 10 or PSAT NMSQT during the school year. SAT and ACT participation reflects whether 12th grade students took the exam at any point while in high school. Participation rates are calculated using end-of-year enrollment for the relevant grade levels.

Performance benchmarks are defined by each testing organization. SAT benchmarks are 480 for Reading and Writing and 530 for Math. PSAT benchmarks vary by grade: 430/480 for grade 10 and 460/510 for grade 11. ACT benchmarks are 18 for English, 22 for Math and Reading, and 23 for Science. Data is provided by the College Board and ACT.
