6-Year Graduation Rate
Percentage of students graduating within 6 years of entering high school.
The six-year graduation rate is the percentage of students who entered grade 9 and graduated with a state-endorsed diploma within six years. Beginning in 2024-25, the six-year graduation rate was added as a new indicator in New Jersey's ESSA accountability system. The dashboard allows you to view either the state percentage or the federal percentage of the graduation rate, which counts all students who received a state-endorsed diploma as graduates. Student group breakdowns and district and state comparisons are available.
