Science Course Participation

This dashboard shows the number of students enrolled in science courses by course type for grades 9 through 12. Course categories include Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Environmental Science, Physics, and Other Science. For schools serving grades 9 through 12, columns also indicate the number of students enrolled in AP or IB versions of each course and in dual enrollment science courses.

Course enrollment is identified using state defined course codes reported by school districts each summer. Counts reflect the unique number of students enrolled in each course category. Data privacy rules have not been applied to course enrollment counts.
