Social Studies & History Course Participation

This dashboard shows the number of students enrolled in social studies and history courses by course type for grades 9 through 12. Course categories include World History, U.S. History I & II, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, and Other Social Studies. For schools serving grades 9 through 12, columns also indicate the number of students enrolled in AP or IB versions of each course.

Course enrollment is identified using state defined course codes reported by school districts each summer. Counts reflect the unique number of students enrolled in each course category. Data privacy rules have not been applied to course enrollment counts.
