Staff Counts

This dashboard shows the number of staff members in each category assigned to the school or district. Categories include teachers, administrators, librarians/media specialists, nurses, counselors, child study team members, school psychologists, school social workers, and student assistance coordinators. Staff counts are not based on full-time equivalent (FTE); each individual is counted once per category regardless of hours.

Staff category assignments are based on job codes reported by districts through the state's student information management system during the fall snapshot. In some districts, staff such as nurses or counselors may be assigned only at the district level and not to individual schools, which may result in a count of zero for those roles in a school-level report.
